Course expiration email - I got an email saying my course is going to expire

Courses eventually expire and each state has different regulations relating to course expiration's. Courses are offered from as little as 1 to 5 years in duration, it all depends on the state.

If you are enrolled in a course and the course is set to expire within 30 days, this course will be noted on the Incomplete Courses page with the expiration date.

If you are enrolled in the course before 30 days to expiration, at 30 days before it expires our system will automatically send you a course expiration email.

These emails can be sent years after your purchase if you didn't complete the course. So if you don't remember making a recent purchase it is possible that this course has been in your account for years. We only send this email if you actually made a purchase on our site and are currently enrolled in the course.

This course expiration email is just a warning that a course you are enrolled in will expire in 30 days. You have three options.

  1. Take the course and get the certificate before it expires.
  2. Do nothing. The course will be removed from your account when it expires and the appropriate credit hours will be added to your account. This allows you to add another course/s whenever you want.
  3. Exchange the course yourself. Log in and go to Incomplete Courses. Click the Exchange Course button to remove the course and add credits to your account. To add a course click Add Courses

You may find that all of your state's courses are expiring at the same time. This is common with numerous states. Often all courses expire on your compliance deadline. Don't worry, all new courses will automatically be added the day after they expire and you can add new courses to your account by clicking Add Courses.
